Some estimates in Colorado report as high as 200,000 jobs in 2015. These numbers are seen less than 3 years after passing recreational use by popular vote via Amendment 64. As a result, Colorado seen a growth rate of up to 90 percent. Therefore, I believe it is an indication that job growth and overall market growth will remain strong.
Washington Cannabis Jobs Market
In addition, similar trends are unfolding in Washington. Recreational marijuana was legalized by Initiative 502 in 2012 and the first legal sales began on July 8, 2014. Entrepreneurs are forming new business associations because of the strong number below.
